Baby is refusing to take bottle from Mom
Babys are very smart. If you are breast feeding the little one he/she will associate Mom with breast feeding and it can happen that he/she refuses to take the bottle from Mom. This is especially making things difficult when introducing the bottle. Get out of the house and let Dad or a relative introduce the bottle. Babys can hear and smell very well. If Mom is close – they know. If the baby knows that Mom is around he/she will eventually refuse the bottle and waits to breast fed. So, Mom – get out of the house for a while and enjoy the break to take a breather.
But no matter how stubborn your little one is – hunger will succeed and make the baby finally try the bottle of your breast milk. As long as there is no option available for him/her- this usually works.
