SeatSnug Review

Have you heard about how good the new SeatSnug is? This product is heavily advertised on TV, but what is behind those ads really? Maybe you remember the good old days back in the 70’s or 80’s when traveling as a child in your family’s car? You could actually crawl around all over the back seat and do fun stuff. Our parents (I am from the late 1960s) never enforced any seatbelts down on us. I remember sitting on the floor of the car between the backseat and my Mom’s seat – it was fun down there and I played while we drove around the country for whatever reason., and even climb into the rear section of a station wagon to wave at the driver behind you. The back of the car was our playground while being on the road!

Well, things change and those days are over and gone. Car manufacturers finally implemented better safety standards which included seat belts and anchors to attach a car seat or booster seat.  Today some more expensive cars even have side-airbags in the bag, but those cars usually cost an arm and a leg and most people cannot afford them.

So, car seats for babies and children of all ages are now required by law, but even then there are car seats that are less safe than others. If you are concerned about your child’s safety, you cannot have enough layers of safety really. However, the bad thing is that your child becomes less and less able to play while travelling. In a perfect world, car seats and boosters will help to protect your child at all times. However, statistics show that more than half of all car seats are incorrectly installed. In addition, children outgrow a car seat fast and often ride in outdated seats for their size or age.

One thing you can do to protect your child is to install a SeatSnug or sometimes shown as Seat Snug. This safety device works in conjunction with your current car seat to ensure that your child or baby stays secure at all times. The SeatSnug prevents the rolling and tipping that often occurs in many car seats. Imagine your kid going wild and bouncing sideways as an example. This is a heavy force on the car seat – while you are driving the car with maybe no possibility to stop. So, check out the Seat Snug and see if that is maybe an additional layer of security or safety that you would like to add to your child’s life.
