How is your due date calculated?

Your due date is estimated by adding 40 weeks (280 days) to the approximate date of conception. The date of conception is considered to be approx. 2 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual cycle. Did you know that only 5% of women deliver their babies on their projected due date? The results of this calculator are therefore an estimate based on scientific calculations.
