If the difficulty appears to be a distraction of ovulation, hormone treatment with clomiphene citrate (Clamed, Serophene ) is the handling of choice to excite ovulation. In other girls, ovarian follicular expansion can be excited by the administration of human menopausal gonadotropins ( Pergonal ) with administration of human prolonged gonodotropin ( HCG ) to supply ovulation ( see target Pharmacology : Menotropins ). Human menopausal gonadotropins (obtained from postmenopausal pee) are mixes of FSH and LH.
